Samusocial Perú encourages the promotion of healthy educational institutions in Huaycán.

In this regard, Samusocial Perú participates in the building of classrooms in the Educational Institution 1268 Mohme Llona of Huaycán, thanks to the support of Children of Peru Foundation and the Parents Association.

The project aims at creating the conditions for a favorable physical and psycho-social environment, with potential to generate healthy life styles as well as an adequate environment in order to build the capacities of children and adolescents of the most excluded areas of Huaycán.

Likewise, one of the project’s characteristics is the active participation of parents from the School, who supported the building of the classrooms through community work.

Samusocial Perú initiative is framed within the “Healthy Schools” action lines promoted by the Pan American Health Organization, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education of Peru.
